Test result "Linux Magazin" March 2003
BILL / exchange4linux is the only Open Source solution that really offers an alternative to Exchange.

EasyGate 5.0 comes with the dansguard contentfilter. This way you can block bad websites with a automatic updated blacklist (whitelist also supported). The new integrated faxserver gives everybody in the LAN a full featured fax-solution. exchange4linux 3.0 comes now with a easy key management. 1 server key does all the work. No client keys needed.

EasyGate Workgroup 4.5 is "Budget Empfehlung" (budget recommendation) in the leading magazine "Internet Professional". The price/quality relation of EasyGate has again proved to be very good. Furthermore, EasyGate is the only Linux server in the test that offers an alternative to Microsoft Exchange server.

Furthermore, a new password policy has been implemented, which no longer accepts short and simple passwords. BILL Workgroup supports Free-Busy times.

May 16, 2002. The commercial version of BILL Workgroup is available. Including OS, web interface and 5 MAPI clients this version costs 499,- euro.

EasyGate 4.1 now with virusscanner
November 6, 2001. EasyGate 4.1 can optionally be equipped with an integrated VIRUSSCANNER. The virusscanner, in cooperation with the EasyGate mailserver, checks all incoming and outgoing e-mail for viruses. Virus updates are downloaded automatically through the internet.
